Founder’s Statement
Be The Ladder was established in response to a clear and persistent challenge within education: that potential is not always recognised early, and opportunity is not always equally accessible.
Many young people possess the qualities that underpin future success, curiosity, resilience, empathy and determination, but require the right environment and support for these to develop.
Our work focuses on identifying that potential and ensuring that it is both nurtured and supported through meaningful opportunity.
The long-term vision is to create a sustained and widening impact, where those who benefit from support are empowered, in time, to support others.
In doing so, we aim to contribute not only to individual success, but to stronger, more connected communities.
For Schools
We work in partnership with schools to:
identify pupils with emerging potential
deliver structured development programmes
provide access to enrichment and opportunity
support key transitions
If you are interested in working with Be The Ladder, we would welcome a conversation.
For Parents
If your child has been offered a place on a Be The Ladder programme, this reflects a recognition of their potential.
Our programmes are designed to:
build confidence
support personal development
provide access to valuable opportunities
help prepare for future success
We work closely with schools to ensure that all support is appropriate, inclusive and beneficial.
For Partners and Supporters
Be The Ladder provides a clear and impactful way to support the development of young people.
Through partnership and investment, you can help to:
unlock potential
remove barriers to opportunity
create meaningful and lasting impact
We welcome engagement from individuals and organisations who share this commitment.
